It's Time To Do It

OK, I have hundreds of charts from classical brass to full concert band with lots of jazz and rock in between. And, there are lots of trumpet players in every organization that I play in (not that they are bad or I dislike them, I just prefer playing one to a part). So, the time is now to find some like minded people, 8 to 12, and start a group on my own. Let me know if you're interested.

Soul Band

I'm a huge Tower of Power fan and would love to do a band that covered a bunch of their tunes. Of course, you've got to start with that big bari sax sound. Well, I happen to play in a band with a great Bari player who was all over the idea. Maybe this is going to work out after all...

Septet, Octet or Nontet That is the Question

I'm thinking I'd like to start a small jazz/rock/soul big band. I have hundreds of workable arrangements in PDF format so it's just a matter of finding interested parties in the Phoenix area. Drop me a not if you're interested. The group could be anything from a more traditional approach to pushing the edges with some soul and hip-hop. Lemme know!
